Ingredients For buttercream frosting

  • 1 cup of butter at room temp
  • 3 cups of powdered sugar (you can add more for more sweeter thicker frosting)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon of vanilla
  • 4 tablespoons of heavy cream

How To Make buttercream frosting

  • 1
    In a large bowl, beat the butter until light and fluffy.
  • 2
    Add sugar, salt, and vanilla and beat until well combined, about 3-4 minutes.

    Add cream, one Tablespoon at a time along with additional cups of sugar until desired consistency and taste is reached.

    Add food coloring for desired color
