This is my "go to" buttercream. Great on layer cakes and cupcakes!

Ingredients For buttercream frosting

2 stickbutter
-
1/2 cmilk
-
2 tspvanilla

6-8 cpowdered sugar
How To Make buttercream frosting

1With an electric mixer, mix butter until creamy and smooth.

2Add 4 cups of powdered sugar, vanilla and milk and mix on low speed until well combined.

3Add two more cups of powdered sugar and beat until light and fluffy.

4Add remaining powdered sugar if needed for consistency. 7 cups usually works for me.
