this is my recipe for buttercream, its a wonderful flavor and the perfect texture for decorating. it is the greatest for wedding cakes, or any cakes or cupcakes.

How To Make buttercream for cake decorators

1BEAT until moist: 2 lbs of powdered sugar, crisco, water, salt karo and almond or vanilla flavoring

2Then add the other 2 lbs of powdered sugar. Beat 10 to 20 minutes (hope you have a kitchenaid) Store airtight. keeps well.

3left over colored icing can be combined with cocoa and 1 egg white (opt), to make a wonderfully flavored chocolate icing, Holds great. try the chocolate frosting with almond its a tasty difference. xoxoxo
