How To Make brownies by katherine hepburn

1Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

2Butter an 8-inch square baking pan.

3In a heavy saucepan, melt the chocolate with the butter over low heat, stirring until completely melted.

4Remove from the heat and stir in the sugar.

5Add the eggs and vanilla and beat.

6Stir in the flour, salt and walnuts and mix well.

7Spoon the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes.

8Cool and cut into squares.
