Ingredients For brownie cheese cake

  • 3 pkg
    cream cheese
  • 1 pkg
    favorite brownie mix, 13x9 inch sized box
  • 1 pkg
    oreo cookies (opt)

How To Make brownie cheese cake

    In a mixing bowl, pour in the brownie mix and follow the box directions.

    In a microwavable bowl, place the 3 blocks of cream cheese and warm in the microwave until the cheese is soft and spreadable. Don't over cook the cheese it will make it rubbery. (30 seconds at a time is best)

    Add the cream cheese into the brownie mix and mix with an electric mixer until well blended; it will be very thick.

    You may wish to provide a cookie crust, this part is optional. I use oreo cookies that are crushed and place on the bottom of a springform pan (I use a medium sized pan for this recipe). Then pour the brownie cheese mixture on top of the crushed cookies. Place in the oven @ 350 degrees for 1.5 to 2 hrs until the cheesecake begins to split on top. Remove from oven set out to cool for 20 minutes before placing in the fridge. Refidgerate for at least 2 hrs before serving. Serve with your favorite fruit topping or whipped cream.
