Ingredients For brown sugar cream cheese pound cake

  • 1 c
    cooking oil
  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 8 oz
    pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2 c
    light brown sugar
  • 6
    eggs
  • 2 and 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make brown sugar cream cheese pound cake

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine first 3 ingredients; beat well with mixer. Gradually add sugar, beat until light and fluffy (about 5 minutes). Add eggs, 1 at a time; beat well after each addition. Add flour to creamed mixture; beat well. Stir in vanilla.

    Pour into a well-greased 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes, remove from pan and cool completely.

    NOTE: You can serve as is, or drizzle a light glaze on top.
