Ingredients For brown sugar cake

    package yellow cake mix
  • 1
    package vanilla instant pudding (not cook and serve)
  • 4
    eggs
  • 2/3 c
    sour cream (can use light)
  • 2/3 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 1 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • powder sugar to dust top of cake

How To Make brown sugar cake

    Heat oven to 350. Spray a bundt or tube pan with cooking spray. Mix 2tbs. sugar and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon and sprinkle bottom of pan.

    Beat cake mix, pudding, eggs, sour cream, water and oil until well blended. Add brown sugar and nuts and mix well.

    Pour into prepared pan. Bake 1hr. or until done. Allow to cool 15mins. before removing onto platter. Let cake cool completely and dust with powder sugar just before serving.
