    10 in. pumpkin spice bundt cake, homemade or purchased
  • 5 md
    ripe bananas
  • 3 or 4 md
    ripe pears (bartlett or bosc are both good)
  • 1 lg
    can whipped cream or 1 -16 oz tub of cool whip
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c
    finely chopped crystallized ginger (optional)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c
    chopped toasted pecans or sliced almonds (optional)

    Slice the bundt cake into approximately 1/2" thick slices. Peel and slice bananas into 1/4 to 1/2" slices. Wash, core and slice pears into thin slices or cut into 1/4" dice.

    To plate, Place one slice of the Bundt cake on the plate, spoon on 1-2 Tbsp of whipped topping, add 4-5 banana slices, place second cake slice on top of bananas, add whipped topping and 2-4 pear slices. Spoon a little more whipped topping on top of the pears and garnish with a banana slice and some chopped crystallized ginger or toasted nuts.
