My daughter cracks up at the name. It's not the prettiest cake in the batch, lol, but it certainly is yummy. And it's easy! Easy works on my hectic weeknights.

Want the easiest dessert recipe ever? Try this Crock Pot blueberry dump cake. It's seriously so simple. The end result tastes like a blueberry cobbler. The center is soft and gooey. Walnuts add a little crunch to the topping. We tasted it both hot and cold - it was delicious each way!

  • 1 can
    blueberry pie filling, 15.25 oz
  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts

  • Blueberry pie filling poured into a slow cooker.

    Dump the blueberry pie filling into a slow cooker.
  • Cake mix and butter combined in a bowl.

    In a large bowl, combine dry cake mix and butter. Beat until mixed well.
  • Cake mixture sprinkled over pie filling.

    Now sprinkle this over the top of the pie filling. Sprinkle the nuts over this.

    Cover and cook in the slow cooker on low for 2 to 3 hours.

    It separates a bit from the edges when it's done.
  • Dump cake chilling in the fridge.

    Serve warm with ice cream. Or, I am not big on warm fruit, so I removed the insert from the cooker and put it in the frig. I like my fruit cold.
