Ingredients For blueberry coffeecake
- CAKE:

2 call purpose flour

3/4 csugar
-
2 1/2 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1/4 cbutter or margarine, softened

3/4 cmilk

1egg
-
2 cfresh or frozen blueberries, no need to thaw, if frozen
- TOPPING:

1/2 csugar
-
1/3 call purpose flour

1/2 tspcinnamon
-
1/4 tspnutmeg (i use fresh, but use whatever is on hand)

1/4 cbutter, softened
How To Make blueberry coffeecake

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2In a bowl, blend together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, butter or margarine, milk and egg. Using an electric mixer, beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Carefully fold blueberries into batter. Pour into a greased 9-inch-square cake pan.

3For topping, in a bowl combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter; sprinkle over batter. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until cake tests done.
