I have my own blueberry bread recipe. I decided to switch it up a bit. I tweaked the recipe, and added a different crumble topping too. It came out beautiful. The coffee cake is truely delicious! Enjoy!

3/4 csugar

4 Tbspsoftened butter

1/2 cplus 2 tb milk skim whiole or other

1egg

2 call purpose flour

1/2 tspsalt

2 tspbaking powder

1 tspcinnamon

1 tspvanilla extract

1 tsporange zest
-
2 cblueberries fresh or frozen
-
1/2 cchopped walnuts
- CHEESE CAKE CENTER
-
8 ozsoftened cream cheese
-
1egg
-
1/4 csugar
-
1 tspvanilla
-
1 tspfresh orange juice
-
1/2 tsporange zest
- CRUMB TOPPING
-
1/2 cgranulated sugar
-
1/2 cflour
-
5 Tbspsoftened butter
How To Make blueberry cheese coffee cake by nor

1Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour a tube pan set aside.

2In a large bowl. Beat the sugar and butter together.

3Add the milk to the butter mixture. Beat well. Add in the egg, and vanilla. Continue to beat until well until Incorporated.

4Into another bowl. Sift the flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt together .

5Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture. Mix well. Do not over to beat.

6With a spoon fold in the blueberries walnuts and or zest. Mix well. Set aside.

7Make the cheese filling. Beat all of the ingredients together until fluffy. Set aside.

8Place half of the blueberry batter by spoonfuls evenly on the bottom of the tube pan . Spread with spoon evenly .

9Top the bottom batter with the cheese filling. Drop by spoonfuls around the center of the batter evenly. Smooth filling with spoon.

10Drop spoonfuls of remaining batter on top of the cheese filling. Gently even out the batter the best you can. It's not that important. (It will be covered with crumb mixture.)

11Make crumb topping. Mix all ingredients together with your hands squeezing to form a dough like ball. Crumble the ball so that there are large crumbs.

12Crumble over the top of the coffee cake batter.

13Place in 350° oven. Bake for approximately one hour or until no crumbs show on a toothpick when tested.

14Cool for about 10 minutes. Run a knife around the center of the cone., and outside of cake. Lift center cone and pull cake with cone out of pan. Continue to cool.

15When the cake is cool. Gently loosien cake from bottom and inside circle with a knife. Invert onto a platter. Turn right side up nd serve .
