Ingredients For blintz torte

1/2 cbutter

1/2 csugar

4egg yolks, reserve whites

5 Tbspmilk

1 tspvanilla

1 cflour
-
1 tspbaking powder

4egg whites stiffly beaten

1 csugar

1 1/2 calmonds, sliced
- FILLING

1 cmilk

1 tspsugar

1 Tbspbutter

1 tspvanilla

1 tspcorn starch, heaping
How To Make blintz torte

1Beat together the butter, sugar and egg yolks. Add milk, vanilla, flour and baking powder. Mix well. Put in 2 pans as you would do for a layer cake. Add sugar to beaten egg whites. Spread this on the layers. Sprinkle with nuts and bake like layer cake for 30 to 35 minutes. In a 350 oven.
