1/3 csugar

How To Make black bottom cupcakes

1In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cream cheese, egg, 1/3 cup sugar, 1/8 tsp. salt, and 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Mix until smooth. Stir in the chocolate chips.

2In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, 1 cup sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and the 1/2 tsp. salt.

3Add the water, oil, vinegar and the tablespoon of vanilla to the dry ingredients; stir until blended.

4Fill 18 paper-lined cupcake cups half-full with cake batter.

5Drop a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture into each cup. Then, using a spoon, lightly cover the cream cheese with the cake batter. This makes the tops more rounded.

6Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for about 30-35 minutes.
