bj's cream cheese pound cake

This is absolutely the best and easiest pound cake I have ever made. I usually make them 2 at a time. This recipe was given to me by a dear friend, BJ, who is now deceased. We have enjoyed this recipe for years...hope you do too!

Ingredients For bj's cream cheese pound cake

  • 1 box
    duncan hines butter recipe cake mix
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 4 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    oil
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    water

How To Make bj's cream cheese pound cake

    Beat all ingredients well with electric mixer. Beat well about 2 minutes or until smooth.

    Pour batter into a bundt pan that has been greased and floured. I use butter and confectioner's sugar to prepare pan.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour until lightly browned. Cool in pan 10 minutes on rack. Then turn out onto cake plate and dust with confectioner's sugar.
