This is a recipe from the makers of Bisquick. I made it as written but it was a little dry, and as you can see from my photo, it didn't have enough streusel topping! So I have re-written the recipe according to what other cooks said worked best!

- CINNAMON STREUSEL TOPPING

2/3 coriginal bisquick mix

2/3 cpacked brown sugar

1 tspground cinnamon

4 Tbspfirm butter
- COFFEE CAKE

2 coriginal bisquick mix

2/3 cmilk

3 Tbspwhite sugar

1 lgegg

1/2 capple sauce
How To Make bisquick streusel coffee cake

1Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease 9-inch round pan. In small bowl, stir streusel ingredients until crumbly; set aside.

2In medium bowl, mix coffee cake ingredients until blended. Spread in pan. Sprinkle with streusel.

3Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.

4I added powdered sugar to mine, just as a garnish.
