    all purpose flour
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2/3 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1/3 cup
    shredded coconut
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 can
    20oz. crushed pineapple with juice
  • FOR THE FROSTING
  • 1 pkg
    8oz. cream cheese softened
  • 1 stick
    butter softened
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 16oz
    powdered sugar
  • chopped walnuts for garnish

How To Make big ole bill's pineapple walnut cake

    Gather your ingredients

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

    Lightly grease a 9 x 13 pan

    Mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, vanilla, eggs, coconut, chopped walnuts and pineapple with juice in a mixer bowl and combine thoroughly and pour into 9x13 baking pan

    Bake for 25 to 30 minutes take out of the and start cooling it off

    While waiting for cake to cool start making your frosting

    Beat the cream cheese and butter together until creamy

    Add sugar and vanilla and beat until creamy Note: The frosting will be thick

    While cake is still warm but not hot poke holes in the cake, put on frosting and garnish with chopped walnuts
