There are many names for this dessert.. Better Than Sex, Robert Redford suprise, Elegant chocolate decadence. There are as many variaions of this dessert as there are names for it. This is my favorite. I do add a cream cheese/sugar topping too, sometimes. Also can add milk to mixture PRIOR to pouring in the holes, use sweetened condensed milk. VERY RICH..

Ingredients For better than sex cake

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 lrg can
    pineapple, crushed with juice
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 pkg
    vanilla instant pudding (lrg pkg)
  • 8 oz
    cool whip ( 1 tub)
  • 1
    chocolate bar
  • 1 c
    nuts, chopped

How To Make better than sex cake

    Bake cake as per instruction on box.

    Put sugar, pineapple in pan and boil, stir frequently. Remove from heat and set aside.

    When cake is done, poke holes in cake. Pour the pineapple mixture on HOT cake. Chill in fridge. Overnight is best! At 90 mins though.

    Top with cool whip, pudding, nuts, chocolate
