My families favorite. Made it for a bake sale and it was gone in a minute. Frost with Brown Sugar Frosting, yummie!!!

Ingredients For best ever banana cake

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 2
    eggs, separated- beat the whites into soft peaks
  • 1/4 c
    sour milk (add 1/4 tsp of white vinegar to milk and let it sour)
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 3
    very ripe bananas mashed

How To Make best ever banana cake

    Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks. Add mashed banana to the creamed butter and sugar.

    Add sour milk and baking soda.

    Add in the rest of the dry ingredients, mix well.

    Fold in the egg whites until incorporated.

    Bake in 9x13 pan for 25-30 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
