  get creative with adding candy "meats" to the cupcakes. The black food coloring is used on a toothpick and you will want to drag it across some of the caramel candies to create a "charbroil" effect. You can shape the caramels by cutting and rolling them.

  To do the kabobs, just take a toothpick and cut the candy fruits in half and place on toothpick.
