We had a potluck luncheon at work and this was one of the cakes that Barbara brought along. It was so delicious. I hope this becomes one of your favorites as well.

Ingredients For barbara's lemon lush cake

    package yellow cake mix
  • 2 c
    cold milk
  • 1 1/4 c
    water
  • 2
    packages (4 serving size) jello lemon flavor instant pudding
  • 1/3 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    powdered sugar

How To Make barbara's lemon lush cake

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake batter as directed on package. Pour into greased 13X9 inch pan-set aside.

    Pour milk and water into large bowl. Add dry pudding mix and granulated sugar. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes or until well blended.

    Pour over batter. Place baking pan on cookie sheet to catch any sauce that might bubble over.

    Bake 55 minutes to 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Cool then sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve warm or cold.
