I had very little time to whip up something for a party today. I got great feedback on this--and my sister said it was fantastic and a definite keeper! It's so quick and easy to make!

Sprinkle slivered almonds on top, if desired. Bake approximately 45-50 minutes. May need more time. Cool on rack for 10 minutes, remove from pan. Drizzle with cinnamon glaze, if desired.
-
4*All-purpose flour is fine--just add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt and sift together with flour.
