I found this in Dad's recipe folder and it just made my mouth water! Enjoy!

Ingredients For banana split cake, krr

  • 1 c
    butter, divided
  • 2 c
    graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 box
    powdered sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2
    15 oz cans crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 5
    bananas, sliced
  • 3
    16 oz sliced frozen strawberries, thawed and drained
  • 1 lg
    cool whip
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans

How To Make banana split cake, krr

  • 1
    melt butter and mix with graham crumbs. Press into bottom of 9x13. (didn't say, but I would assume 1/2 cup melted butter).

    Combine sugar, remaining butter and eggs. Beat with electric mixer 12 min. Pour over crust, chill 4 hours.

    Layer pineapple, bananas and strawberries on top. Top with cool whip, then pecans. Chill thoroughly before serving. If desired, drizzle with hot fudge or chocolate sauce before serving.
