This recipe came from one of the ladies at our church when I was a kid. I can't even remember who made it, but I can tell you, it was always my favorite dessert at church dinners!

Ingredients For banana split cake

1 1/2 cgraham cracker crumbs

1/4 cgranulated sugar

1/3 cmelted butter
-
2 cpowdered sugar

3(8 oz.) packages cream cheese, softened

2 can(20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained very thoroughly

4 mdmedium bananas, sliced
-
1(8 oz.) tub of cool whip
-
1 ccrushed pecans or walnuts
-
1 cmaraschino cherries
How To Make banana split cake

1Mix crumbs, granulated sugar and butter; press firmly onto bottom of 9x13 inch pan. Freeze 10 minutes.

2Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Spread evenly over crust.

3Top with crushed pineapple. Slice the bananas and arrange over the pineapple.

4Spread cool whip on top and garnish with chopped peanuts and maraschino cherries.
