I only use self rising flour, but I listed this one to be able to use with All purpose. This cake is very moist and good. I do some times make a banana nut icing for it, and some times bake in 3 round pans, stack and Ice.

Ingredients For banana nut cake

1/2 ccrisco shortening

1 1/2 csugar

2large eggs

2 cflour
-
1/4 tspbakeing powder

3/4 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

3 - 4over ripe bananas mashed well

1/4 cbuttermilk

1 tspvanilla extract
-
1 cchopped pecans
How To Make banana nut cake

1Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.

2Spray 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray.

3Mix all ingredients except pecans well. Stir in pecans last

4Pour into cake pan and bake for 30 35 minutes. Cake is very moist, if tooth pick used to test, may have small amount of cake on tooth pick. Do not over bake.
