I am making this cake right now for my daughters birthday I have had this receipe for a long time now ,its her favorate. spices ,pudding ,whipped cream and sliced banans. yommmmmm

Ingredients For banana cream cake

  • 2 plus 2 Tbsp
    sifted cake flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 3 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    crisco
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanila
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp
    cloves

How To Make banana cream cake

  • 1
    sift flour ,sugar,baking powder and salt together. add crisco, milk and vanilla. beat 2 minutes,med speed. add eggs and beat 2 minutes. pour 1/2 batter into 8 or 9 'pan. blend spices to rest of batter pour into 2nd pan bake 30 to 35 minutes (350)..fill cented with vanilla pudding( i use 2 pks of cook and serve pudding, either vanilla or banana cream) and sliced banans( i soak the banans in pineapple juice so they dont turn brown) top with rest of pudding and sliced banans , frost sides with wipped cream and nuts if you like. enjoy
