Ingredients For banana bread bars with cream cheese frosting

  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    ripe mashed bananas
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 pinch
    salt

How To Make banana bread bars with cream cheese frosting

    Cream butter and sugar, add eggs and mix well, add mashed bananas and mix well, add vanilla and mix well.

    In a separate bowl mix flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well and add to first mixture and mix well.

    Pour into a greased 15X10 Jelly Roll pan or use a cake pan and a small pan so the batter isn't so thick or it won't cook in the middle.

    Bake 350 degrees for 25 min or until it tests done.

    Cream Cheese Frosting 1/2 C butter 1 pkg cream cheese 4 Cups powdered sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla mix well and spread over cooled banana bars. Refrigerate to set Can refrigerate or leave out.
