This is a personal favorite of mine. It is very moist and delicious. You can glaze it or frost it, but it is good without icing. You can also add coconut, raisins or any other desired fruit or nut combinations you'd like.

Ingredients For apple dapple cake

1-1/2 cwesson oil

2 csugar

3 lgeggs

3 call-purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt

1 cpecans, chopped

3 craw apples, peeled and chopped

2 tspvanilla
- GLAZE

1 cdark brown sugar, firmly packed

1 stickbutter or margarine

1/4 cevaporated milk

1 tspvanilla
How To Make apple dapple cake

1Cream together the Wesson oil, sugar and eggs until light and fluffy. Set aside.

2Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture; mix well. Fold in apples, pecans and vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

3Bring brown sugar, butter and evaporated milk to a boil, stirring constantly until everything is melted and slightly thickened. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Spread on Apple Dapple Cake.
