2 csugar

1 cvegetable oil
-
3eggs
-
3 csifted flour
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspsalt

1 tspground cinnamon

2 tspvanilla

3 cpeeled chopped apples

2 cflaked coconut
-
1 cchopped dates
-
1 cchopped pecans
- CARAMEL TOPPING
-
1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1/2 cbutter
-
1/2 cmilk
How To Make apple dapple cake

1Preheat oven to 325 degrees F

2Grease and flour 9 or 10-inch tube pan.

3Mix together sugar and oil. Add eggs and beat well. Blend in flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and vanilla.

4Stir in apples, coconut, dates and pecans. Spoon batter into pan. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until wooden pick inserted in comes out clean.

5Remove from oven and immediately pour hot caramel topping over cake and allow to soak in. Let cake cool completely before removing from pan. Chill for easier slicing..

6To prepare caramel topping: Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Heat and stir until blended. About 2 minutes.
