  • 3 c
    finely diced apples
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 1 1/4 c
    vegetable oil
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1/2
    container german chocolate frosting
  • GLAZE
  • 1 c
    toasted pecans
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp
    vanilla soy milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 c
    powdered sugar

How To Make apple cinnamon pecan cake

    Glaze: Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and stir until smooth. Set the bowl aside.

    Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Lightly grease a Bundt pan or tube pan.

    In a bowl, mix together the apples, vanilla, and cinnamon. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

    Using a mixer beat the sugar, oil, German Chocolate Frosting and eggs in a large bowl. Add in the dry ingredients and beat until completely combined. Fold in the apple mixture.

    Scrape the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until a tester inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean.

    Allow the cake to fully cool in the pan, about 1 hour, and then turn it out onto a plate

    Glaze: Add all the ingredients to a small bowl and stir until smooth. Set the bowl aside. Drizzle the cake with some of the cinnamon glaze, and then sprinkle the pecans on top
