This bundt cake is my family's favorite. I make it for Easter almost every year, but my family forced me to bake it for Christmas. Served warm it just melts in your mouth, but it's good cold too. Enjoy!

Ingredients For amaretto cake

  • 1 c
    butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 4 lg
    eggs,separeted
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    almond filling
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 2 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt

How To Make amaretto cake

  • 1
    Beat butter, sugar, egg yolks, vanilla and almond paste well.
  • 2
    Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Add flour mixture and sour cream to almond mixture, alternating and beating well.

    In separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff.
  • 4
    Fold egg whites into batter, and pour into bundt cake pan.

    Bake at 350 F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
