These bars are a delicious change from the ordinary, and so easy..They are melt in your mouth wonderful..I used sliced almonds to sprinkle on the top, to give them some texture..they sure are delicious. Enjoy! My photos

Ingredients For almond cheesecake bars

1 cbutter, softened

1/2 cconfectioners' sugar
- FILLING

11 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

1/2 csugar

1 tspalmond extract ( i used 1/2 tsp ) this amount was perfect for us, we don't like a real strong almond flavor

2eggs, lightly beaten
- FROSTING

1 - 1/2 cconfectioners' sugar

1/4 cbutter. softened

4 - 5 tspmilk
How To Make almond cheesecake bars

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with cooking spray.

2Combine the flour, butter and confectioners' sugar; press onto the bottom of a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

3For filling: In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar and extract until smooth. Add eggs; beat on low speed just until combined. Pour over crust. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool on a wire rack.

4Combine the frosting ingredients until smooth; spread over bars. Store in the refrigerator.
