I'm told over-and-over that this cake is the best. Folks ask me what I would charge to bake one for them. It's tasty, moist, and the best I've ever eaten and keeps for many days in the Cake Take! Also, it's so easy to mix and bake...comes out perfect everytime!

Ingredients For 3-flavor pound cake

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 3 stick
    parkay margarine (no sub)
  • 3 c
    sugar
  • 3 c
    swans down cake flour (no sub)
  • 6 lg
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    almond extract
  • 1 tsp
    lemon extract
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • THREE-FLAVOR POUND CAKE

How To Make 3-flavor pound cake

    Heat oven to 325 degrees, spray tube pan with Bakers Joy. Margarine, Cream Cheese, Extracts and Eggs should be at room temperature when mixed.

    Cream Parkay with Cream Cheese until smooth; Sift Flour and then measure out 3 cups; Add Sugar & Cake Flour all together; Beat on Speed 6 for 5 minutes; Add Eggs one at a time and beat well; Stir in Extracts; Spoon into tube pan; and Bake for 1.5 hours Turn out of pan after five minutes, cool & cover
