14 carrot cake

Another recipe I found in Grandma W's recipe box I inherited. This cake is incredibly good with all carrots (the way I prefer), or as the recipe is written with pineapple and raisins. Enjoy!

Ingredients For 14 carrot cake

  • 2 c
    flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon (heaping)
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 c
    oil
  • 2 c
    grated carrots (i used 5 cups fresh grated)
  • 1 c
    raisins, optional (i omit)
  • 1 can
    pineapple, optional (i omit)
  • cream cheese frosting

How To Make 14 carrot cake

    Bale at 350 degrees 35-45 min in 9x13.
  • 2
    I omitted pineapple and raisins and added additional carrots. Grated carrots on the cheese grater size, not zesting size like I do for dog treats for BBB.

    Frost when cake is cooled.
