1 lb. lean ground beef (or drained ground beef–important that it’s drained)

3 T extra virgin olive oil
•
2 green bell peppers, finely chopped
•
1 small onion, finely chopped
•
4 cloves of garlic, finely minced
•
1 1/2 C diced tomatoes (about 2 medium tomatoes)
•
5 T tomato paste
•
1 small head cauliflower, steamed and riced (may sub one bag of frozen florets)
•
2 T brown sugar substitute (I used Ideal)
•
32 oz. beef stock or broth
•
1 T Worcestershire sauce
•
1/2 tsp. onion powder
•
1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
•
2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
•
1/2 tsp. black pepper
