2 oz dried porcini mushrooms
2 Tbsp butter, unsalted
1/2 cup yellow onion, finely diced
1 1/2 Tbsp garlic, sliced very thin (about 4 cloves)
1 1/2 cup crimini mushrooms
1 1/2 cup white mushrooms
1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
1/4 cup white wine
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 tsp fresh thyme
1 Tbsp small cut fresh chives
Salt to taste
Fresh ground black pepper to taste
4 slices crusty Italian bread
Extra virgin olive oil (to drizzle)
Fresh thyme (garnish)
