Crawfish Turnover Recipe: This dish is not that hard to do and is a great crawfish dish. Give yourself a few hours. Makes 8 turnovers or pies. This was derived from Emeril's recipe. I wanted to give you a nice detailed view of it.

3 cups all purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt
•
1 1/2 cups vegetable shortening
•
3/4 cup water
•
1/2 stick butter or margarine
•
1 cup onion chopped
•
1 tsp. garlic minced
•
1/2 cup bell pepper chopped
•
3/4 cup celery chopped
•
pinch of salt and pepper
•
1 pound peeled crawfish tails
•
2 tbs. flour
•
1/2 cup water
•
3 tbs. chopped parsley
•
3 tbs. chopped green onions
•
1 egg, beaten
