Cranberry buttermilk muffins* ---- eat now or gift jar instructions

INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 cup dried cranberries
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Plus:
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup melted butter
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
*A nice optional touch would be streusel topping.
Streusel topping;
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup All-Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 cup cold butter
Mix as you would pie crumbs, sprinkle lightly on muffins, pressing very lightly with back of spoon.
Bake as instructed
