2 c. cherry juice
•
2/3 c. dry red wine
•
1/4 c. sugar or to taste

2 tsp. vanilla sugar or 1/2 tsp. extract

2 T cornstarch
•
2-3 T. liqueur such as cherry brandy or amaretto (optional)

4 sprigs lemon balm for garnish
