• 1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice
• 3 Tablespoons honey
•1 teaspoon Tabasco hot sauce

•6 cups vegetable oil
•3 (6.5 ounce) cans Bar Harbor Chopped Clams
•1-3/4 cups flour
•1 Tablespoon baking powder
•1-1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
•pinch ground black pepper
•2 eggs, beaten
•1 cup reserved clam juice
•1/4 cup buttermilk
•1 lemon, cut in wedges (optional garnish)
