4 1/2 lb. goose, cleaned and dressed (no gizzards)
1-2 apples, peeled, cored and quartered
1 small onion, cut lengthwise into 1/4 inch wide strips
1-2 tsp. thyme
Salt
Pepper
2 T. all-purpose flour
1 14 oz. can chicken broth or homemade stock
