1 1/4 cups whole milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
For the Buttercream:
6 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
1/2 pound (2 sticks) unsalted butter, cubed and softened
1 ripe avocado—halved, pitted and mashed
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch kosher salt
1 cup confectioners' sugar
