2 frozen deep 9" pie crusts or homemade if you like

1 brownie mix made according to directions, divided
•
1 recipe of chocolate cream (below), divided
•
whipped cream
•
chocolate shavings for topping

CHOCOLATE CREME:
•
2T unsalted butter
•
1 1/3 c semisweet chocolate, chopped
•
1 t vanilla extract
•
2/3 c granulated sugar
•
3 T cornstarch
•
2T unsweetened cocoa powder
•
1/8 t salt
•
3 large egg yolks
•
1 c heavy cream, divided
•
2 c milk
