1 box devils food cake mix (no pudding in the mix)

1/2 cup instant chocolate pudding mix
•
3 eggs
•
6 1/2 tablespoons oil
•
6 1/2 tablespoons rum
•
6 1/2tablespoons water
•
2-3 tablespoons finely chopped pecans (I food processed mine for a few seconds)
•
6 1/2 tablespoons butter
•
3 tablespoons water
•
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar
•
6 1/2 tablespoons rum
