INGREDIENTS
Sauce and Marinade
2 tablespoons oyster sauce (leave out for paleo)
2 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce (coconut aminos for paleo)
1/2 teaspoon raw honey (or sugar)
2 teaspoons corn starch (arrowroot starch for paleo)
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/4 cup water (plus more as needed to thin out sauce)
1/8 teaspoon ground white pepper or red pepper chili flakes
Salt and black pepper to taste
1/2 - 2 teaspoons red chili pepper flakes or Sriracha (optional)
For the noodles
8 ounces (225 grams) fresh egg noodles or cooked chow mein, yakisoba or ramen noodles (can also use very thin pasta if needed)
0.3 lb. (about 1 medium piece) boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into 1” chunks
1-2 tablespoons cooking oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 teaspoon minced fresh ginger
1 cup shredded Napa cabbage or mixed cabbage slaw
1/2 cup shredded carrots
2 green onions (cut into 2-inch length)
1/2 cup mung bean sprouts, rinsed and drained
Sesame seeds, for garnish
