INGREDIENTS
1 cup unsalted roasted almonds
1-2 teaspoons neutral-flavored oil (walnut, grapeseed, safflower, canola)
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon flaked sea salt
2 cups gluten-free rolled oats
1/4 teaspoon fine-grain Kosher salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 cup maple syrup
2 cups 1% milk, plus extra for serving.
1 large egg
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, browned and cooled
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups pitted and diced dark sweet cherries (frozen cherries are fine too; just thaw before use!)
6 heaping teaspoons Salted Maple Almond Butter or store-bought almond butter
