Beans and Sauce:

•
2 pounds green beans, ends trimmed, and halved
•
3 Tbsp. unsalted butter
•
3 medium garlic cloves, minced or pressed
•
Ground black pepper
•
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
•
1.5 cups low-sodium chicken (or vegetable) broth
•
1.5 cups heavy cream
•
3 cups cheese, shredded (again, I used Cheddar)
