Caramel Banana Cake
INGREDIENTS

2 cups cream

3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened at room temperature for an hour

3/4 cup white sugar
•
3/4 cup brown sugar
•
3 large eggs
•
3 cups all-purpose flour
•
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
•
1/2 teaspoon salt
•
1 1/2 cups milk
•
2 teaspoons vanilla
•
1 1/2 cups mashed bananas, from about 4 to 5 medium bananas (1 1/2 pounds)

Caramel Buttercream
•
makes enough to fill and top a 3-layer cake
