Butter Rum Cake

INGREDIENTS
4 large eggs
3 large egg yolks
½ cup dark rum
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tsp almond extract
2½ cups cake flour (spooned and leveled)
1 cup light brown sugar (packed)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter ( softened)
4 tbsp unsalted butter
¼ cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
6 tbsp dark rum (more or less to your taste preference. )
¼ tsp table salt
