How To Make johnnycakes

1Mix dry ingredients.

2In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients, then add to the dry mixture a little at a time until it's well blended and smooth.

3Cook 1/4 cupfuls of batter in a greased skillet until golden brown, 3 minutes per side. Serve with maple syrup. Serves 4.
