This was my Grandma's recipe. She made the best pancakes. Hers were fluffy and good. All the grandkids that lived with her loved her pancakes. In fact we called her the Queen of Pancakes.

2 call-purpose flour

2 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt

1 tspbaking soda

1/4 cbutter, melted

2 Tbspsugar

2eggs

1 cwarm buttermilk

1 cwarm whole milk

1 tspvanilla extract, (optional)
How To Make homemade fluffy buttermilk pancakes - grannies

1Gather all your ingredients together. In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and sugar. Then set it aside.

2In a medium bowl beat eggs until fluffy and uniform in color.

3Whisk in buttermilk and whole milk with beaten eggs.

4Stir in melted butter and vanilla extract. (Vanilla extract optional).

5Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients.

6Pour the wet mixture into the well.

7Stir until flour and wet mixture is incorporated. (Be careful here and do not over stir. Batter should be lumpy.

8Make sure the pan is well greased. Pour batter into pan to the size pancake of your choice.

9Let pancake cook until bubbles cover the top and then flip pancake. Once flipped, let it cook about a minute. Put on plate, add lots of butter and pour syrup (liberally) all over pancakes. Pray and enjoy...
